9. All except for Dan Abrams...bless his heart
He's REALLY gone out on a limb to try to expose the media's bias against her while not going overboard to support her. A couple of nights ago he featured a study that showed something like 70% positive stories for BO while 30% for Hillary Clinton.

21. My impression is the opposite.
Seems to me the corporate media has pushed Clinton as the inevitable DNC candidate because

a) she creates good "stories" (tabloid-style) and the resultant Clinton bashing that will go in the media will mean big $$$

b) they think she'll lose in the general election, because so many Americans have an irrational hatred of her

and

c) even if she won the general election, she'd be the "best" president out of the Democratic possibilities, as the most corporate

Of course, if you're a Hillary supporter you will almost certainly by definition disgree with my assessment. But the corporate media are manipulators and do not to me seem to unfairly discriminate against Hillary. At all.

**disclaimer - I supported Kucinich and will not vote for Hillary in the general - because I am in Texas and my vote won't count, anyway. I *might* vote for Obama. Or I might write in someone else who I really support, like Kucinich or Nader.

24. I think they are biased for John McCain and against the Democrats and
since Hillary attracts the core Democratic base, they are rooting for Obama, who is only a Democrat-lite.

The are promoting McCain because GE's bosses at the Pentagon are promoting him and the generals have told GE to use their propaganda machine to help McCain. If the nominee is Obama, then NBC can start covering the Fitzgerald prosecution of Rezko. They can even get Abrams and KO on it and make it look like one of their regular "let's clean up political corruption" vendettas. Reduce Obama to road kill before November. If they tried something like that with Hillary, everyone would recognize it as a media smear, but with someone new like Obama they would say "Hey, what do we really know about the guy?" And meanwhile, Dan Abrams would be hyping the federal trial night after night like Ted Koppel holding America hostage on ABC in 1980.

That is the game plan as best I can predict.

GE did not get to be the world's biggest company by playing nice.

and unapologetically so. It started with Dweeby Tweety, but NOW! It's everyone! Inlcuding Keith, which saddens me so. Follow the money. GE that is.

As someone said they were ashen over the MA results. It KILLED them to have to say it.

If she's elected it will be Fixed Noise. They will be on her like white on rice every second of every day. But she's been down THOSE roads already. MSNBC wil be the new Fixed Noise.

I think it's because they see an Obama nomination being the bigger story. Big news events are great money makers for the struggling news media.

GE hates the Clintons and Russert, Mathews, Scarborough, Lauer, and even Gregory make little to no pretense of being journalists where Hillary and Bill are concerned.
