I watched a Dem try to vote Repub today at my polling place...

She got her "brown" ballot, just ahead of me, went and looked at, then came back to the table and told the poll workers that while she's a registered Dem, she'd like to vote R.

I was just leaving at the time, but I imagine they explained to her that nope, she can't do that.

Wonder if she wanted to vote for McCain? I have to say that as much as he's become a blithering idiot, there are probably still plenty of independents and Dems who haven't been paying enough attention to notice that and still think he's a moderate, and a "maverick."
