also flip some purple states, and may even pick up a red state. It's a recipe for a Dem win.

It's because of the black vote in those conservative states, states that he'd lose in in the general election. However, so would Hillary. She might could carry Arkansas and Tennessee.

Being a true Democrat, honest to our core principles, I wouldn't know what a closet Republican sees, in that cluttered mind that is so easily swayed by mere rhetoric....like YOU.
I guess, being a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, graduate of college, followed by Law School, my mind remains uncluttered because it thinks so clearly.
Now, go back to your little cult meetings.

Neither Obama or Hillary are Republicans. Both are fairly moderate Democrats. I chose Hillary after the real progressive, Edwards, dropped out, but that doesn't mean I automatically denigrate her opponents.

Illinois went to Bush in 2004 - that's what determines red or blue labels. |

Many, many states could be labeled "average" and none are pure on either side. You do remember the purple map, right? Nonetheless, I was answering the OP with the same terms and labels he used to post.

She has raised tons of money for them and she has done a lot of favors. Her strategy to the White House has always been formulaic. She sees a very specific electoral map as her road to victory. Where she won tonight reflects the investment she has been making for years.

36. It means a few things I think |
|
I think it means a few things from what I've seen so far.
-Obama is winning big in caucus states so far, that shows that there's a lot more enthusiasm about Obama then Hillary in those states. -Obama doing well in most red states is probably at least partially because voters out there are more concerned about Hillary being unelectable from her high negatives and unfavorable ratings. Their opinion of Hillary might also be shaped more by conservatives they know out there and their hatred of Hillary. -In blue states like Massachusetts people probably are not as concerned about stuff like electability, and are less aware of Hillary's negatives, or think that she can overcome it, because they live around more liberal people, and democrats could win their states if they ran almost anyone.
