4. Several Kansas caucuses jammed |
|
My caucus in the 8th KS Senate district was held in the 50' x 50' main hall of a Unitarian Church. Night was 32 degrees with drizzle. The caucus had to be held in sessions since the hall held about 250 and several thousand showed up. I was early can got in the first session. When I left line snaked down the church drive and around the block. People had parked many blocks away. Amazing in a 90% white suburban middle class area: my session went 150 for Obama and 80 for Clinton.
I have never see so many Kansas Democrats in one place! Wow! Beautiful! And this is bedrock Republican country!

5. Reports from Wichita TV of overflow crowds to caucus, 2-1 Obama. |

Hate to generalize, but will anyway. I'm thinking that where the turn-out is huge, this will favor Obama.
Sure seems true in KS, but maybe KS is so anomalous that you can't generalize about anything here.
