One thing upon which we can all agree: this's been a fucking weird primary season (for both parties)

I mean, it's Feb. 5 and neither side has any real clue who the nominee will be. In some respects, the GOP will likely have McCain, but Huckabee's surge tonight is almost fracturing their party. What is their ideology anymore? Just seems like war hawkishness + bible thumping with no real substance. Huckabee is almost with Dems on economics; McCain is very indy on a lot of issues too. Both are pretty loose on immigration. Weird.
