4. I live in California bud, where do you get your knowledge
Immediately upon the close of polls on election day, the county elections officials and the Secretary of State begin what is called the "semifinal official canvass of the vote" - the tallying of early-returned vote-by-mail ballots and the ballots cast in each of the state's 24,000+ voting precincts. The semifinal official canvass begins at 8:00 p.m. on election night and continues uninterrupted until the last precinct is counted and reported to the Secretary of State.

5. I don't see anything that says mail in ballot results are released first in your post

6. You are correct. I screwed up. I knew they started counting them early
but that is not the same thing

and they are not released until after the polls close

Sorry if I had an attitude

7. I read the thing and it didn't read out the way you first stated...
but if you had something else that was credible I was ready to accept. I didn't necessarily read an attitude in your post. So you don't have to feel guilty.

And I am not intending to offend you but I have learned in my life time not to accept the word of anyone just because they say it is so. If it is outrageous I will absolutely not believe unless there is supporting evidence. If it is somewhat appearing truthful but has questionable truth I will challenge. Even experts can be wrong. Like the hacks on the political shows.

I rely on my education and life experience. And I have enough of that to know if it is likely true or not.

For elections, I understand that the states don't conduct their elections all the same and don't have the same laws. But there are also associations and other organizations that communicate with each other across state borders and some practices tend to become the same.

AND THERE ARE PEOPLE that try to be truthful and dispense that information with the thought it is true. It may be that the research wasn't complete. I can do that at times but do more than a thorough search on the data.

You did the right thing by providing a source which is what I do as much as possible. Just as I did by providing a link to those ballots that had the ovals offsetted with the candidate names.

9. What? No one's said that
It's been widely reported that the absentee ballots were heavily in Clinton's favor.
