Jefferson County, Colorado Caucus
Just got home.

In 2004, about 30 people showed up for the caucus in my area. This time we went over the fire code for the gym. One precinct had to go to the cafeteria. 48 people at my precinct alone out of 7 or so precincts. We went 25 to 23 for Obama. People could speak to the group about our candidate so I spoke about Obama.

A number of great resolutions for the platform like bring the troops home, housing for the poor, restore our constitutional rights, repeal the Patriot Act. One or two more that I forgot.

Had some raisin toast & tea and now I'm ready to get into bed and watch the results.

Dems in Colorado, young and old, are chomping at the bit for November!

9. It's a good thing the fire dept
didn't see that room. All the other precincts were just about as crowded.

4. Denver caucus here, Easily over a thousand, maybe closer to two , for seven precincts,
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 11:39 PM by BleedingHeartPatriot
About a hundred for my precinct.

Obama won 8 out of ten delegates in my precinct, and that looks like it was the equation throughout the state. Wow!

And, I'm now a delegate, as well. (for Mark Udall)

An energizing night. :toast:
