Feb 5. was Hillary's best shot: the majority of the primaries/caucuses from here on out favor Obama |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 01:12 AM by Unsane
They're places with lower hispanic populations that are not in the northeast. Maryland, VA, DC, NE, WA, OR, OH, PA etc. TX has a higher hispanic population, but Obama's got a lot of time and money to spend there. It's also a more indy kind of state with an anti-Clinton trend.
Tonight was Hillary's best shot.

2. And Obama did pretty well tonight too |
|
He won 12 states as of now...I know, it's the delegates. But he hasn't gotten lower than 33% in any states except OK and AK. That means delegates.

28. CNN has Obama in the lead with pledged delegates |
|
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/scorecard/#DClinton leads superdelegates 193 to 106; but isn't it true that Obama's been closing that gap, too?

They are attending mostly by party elites. When it comes to REAL elections, Hillary is the winner. I also saw Obama's combativeness in his speech tonight. Not very "hopeful". Don't give me the Obama won more states nonsense. He won small states. Hillary dominated the large ones.
Sadly, DU, Dailykos, TPM, Huffingtonpost, Randi Rhodes, Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, and Keith Olberman are crying right now trying to put a positive spin on what is a good result for Hillary Rodham Clinton.

8. Maryland, VA, DC, NE, WA, OR, OH, PA ? - perhaps - the 90% black vote in Del won the state and DC/MD |
|
will therefor go his way.
WA and VA are perhaps also likely
PA, Ohio, Texas maybe not so much
NE, OR are mystery states - I recall no polls!
