And there were literally THOUSANDS of people at the Anchorage caucus. It was really unbelievable. As I posted another place, they were supposed to close the doors at 6:00 but had to keep letting people in until 7:30 because there were so many coming. It was taking up to 1-1/2 hours for people to come from across town. The parking lot at the new middle school where we caucused was full by 4:30, and later the entire parking lot of the Fred Meyer across the street was completely full. People were double parked, parked blocks away on the side streets. It was truly amazing. I've never seen anything like it here politically.
I am so proud of my Alaska Democrats tonight. (I should mention that it really was cold -- about 10 below out there.)
