I was hoping for a clear winner, either way, so that we could get back to some semblance of normalcy here at DU.

on the democratic side. I fortunately do recall the days of 2004 when anyone posting some of the garbage seen here this time would have been banned. Rules for posting and enforcement have gotten lax.People then almost always remembered the ultimate goal. Consideration was more common than it is now.
