...or anyway, I've really tried to be a very good girl, so I'm hoping you'll come through for me on this one.

Please, please, please, please can I have a special miracle that will make Mike Huckabee the 2008 GOP candidate for President in the General Election?

I have passed up many, many cheap shots and kept my mouth shut and my fingers still while debate after flamefest after snarkwar has raged here on DU and in many a public forum. I have dutifully foregone the rich mine of comedy to be had from pot-stirring throughout the early phases of the campaign and have carefully let the democratic process take its course un-commented-upon by me.

Now, in light of the demonstrable hypersuperiority of either Democratic candidate over every GOP candidate, I think I'm entitled to relax and get a really good laugh out of the rest of the process, watching the GOP tie itself into frantic knots of writhing self-destruction with Huckabee for a candidate.

Please deliver? Please? I promise I'll give up all other cheap shots for the whole rest of the campaign. Um... well, at least until after the Democratic Convention. OK?
