Let the debates begin!!!! |
|
This has been the most exciting election cycle of my life.
I can't wait for the debates and getting down to the real issues.

1. Just don't go to FOX, Hillary. |
|
The Dems squashed that idea months ago, on Edwards lead. Now Hillary wants to do it.
Don't do it. You think Russert's questions were bad. Hume? Hannity? Gibson?
C'mon. Fuck that.

2. Hillary does well in debate |
|
Obama will probably get better. The last one they were both great. I would love to be able to ask them both questions now that (I hope) they are over the personal attacks. And I really still don't know Obama all that well.

3. Look for Obama's people to shy away from frequent debates. |

5. I doubt they'd do it publically. |

Hillary's camp has been demanding a debate a week, which is a bit silly. She's struggling with money and she wants to use it as free advertising, and she excels in the debate format. It's a strategic thing.

but if he gives the appearance of ducking her it will hurt him. Isn't there a debate scheduled already though?

7. What good is a debate if not public? |
|
I think Hillary's camp is shooting for the starts and hoping to get the moon. Which would be be fine. We don't need one a week. But I don't see how that is free advertising for her any more than it would be for Obama.
I mean advertising is just a well put together, one side opinion. It tells us nothing new. It just tries to convince us, through repetition, that it is better or right about something or someone.
Debates answer questions. Reveal new information. I don't want to see anymore Hillary or Obama ads. I want to listen to their views, hear what is in their hearts. Learn about their past projects and experiences, in depth, and about their plans for the future in even more depth.

8. No, I mean I doubt they [the Obama camp] would "shy away" publically. |
|
They'd try to pull levers behind the scenes to avoid such a scenario.

10. Oh, I see what you were saying. |

Sorry. You're right. It would not look good otherwise.
