I felt the air go out of the Obama campaign. They had the best momentum they'll get and it stalled.

Too much Oprah, too starfucky in general. Fads are for people with short attention spans and his support will drop off or become unmotivated. Clinton's is reliable and strong.

That's more like it, although I was surprised that the Kennedy endorsements didn't do
very well for him in Mass.

4. I like both Hillary and Obama
but MD, VA, DC, and Hawaii vote next and I think they will all go Obama. The results in those state will give a boost to Obama before TX and Ohio vote.

So, there's still a long way to go before the nominee is chosen.

But no matter who wins, let's all come together in Nov.

18. Are you kidding? They just reported on NBC that privately the Clinton campaign is worried
because he is doing so well in fundraising and they acknowledge that the longer this goes on, the more it may favor him. The next states coming up are all favored to be Obama's territory, and Obama's campaign advisor's say the calendar favors him now.

Obama didn't have enough time to solidify it. He had a surge at the end but needed another 5 days to make something really happen.

28. you're crazy
Obama clearly gains momentum from tonight. Just last week, he was down in nearly every poll and the Clinton camp has been harping for 2 months on how they would end the race tonight..Sorry to disappoint, but Obama is gonna end up with the most states and the most delegates. New front-runner anyone?

30. Obama needs to focus more on issues
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 01:53 AM by uncertainty1999
a big attraction about Clinton over Obama is that I know where Hillary stands on the issues and how she holds up under pressure (which is 'excellent'). I get the sense that Obama has not been trying hard to put forth messages about what he'll actually *do* as president and how he'll govern .. and the part that he has told us (that he'll politely work across the aisle) - seems naive ... HOW in the world could he make that work, given the M.O. of repubs to tear down any dem who stands in their way?

32. Why would you, a rabid Hillary supporter, think that you are some sort of barometer
for the Obama campaign.

How is winning 13 or 14 states to Hillary's 9 showing a lack of momentum.

You just love to post these meaningless attempts to demoralize, don't you.

Gloom, DOOM, GIVE UP NOW!

It doesn't work.

We're actually pretty happy tonight. Super Tuesday was pretty much a draw. Gotta keep plugging away. And now my state is viable. My vote will mean something for a change. Huzzah!
