Obama won the important states |
|
It is a given that New Jersey, Massachusetts, California, and New York will go Dem in the general election. Obama won the states that need to be won in the fall in order for a Democratic president to win the White House. Winning five or six states isn't enough. You have to appeal to more than the coasts to win.

7. She killed him in Florida and neither even campaigned there. |
|
And last I checked she won 55% in Michigan while up against a huge campaign to vote uncommitted.

10. Not true, especially Alaska.. |
|
Repubs can turn long enough to vote then turn again. Alaska has always been a (R) stronghold. Obama has Alaska.

there is no way obama will win alaska, alabama, idaho, or north dakota Just as Clinton won't win oklahoma. Once again this is a democratic primary not the general election

14. since I said this on a pro-Clinton thread |

I'll agree on a pro-Obama one too. Really, the only trend to get out of the primaries is that the Democratic turnout is much higher than the GOP.

8. So you think that Obama's going to win Idaho in Nov with the 20,000 Dems that voted? |
|
I appreciate your optimism, but you really have to look at vote totals and not just percentages...

15. The argument that Obama winning red states shows he is more electable makes no sense |
|
Kerry won every state Obama has won except for South Carolina. How did he do in red states in November?
