How Hillary won California. |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 02:40 AM by calteacherguy
She already had an overwhelming organization here.
She won the majority of the asian and latino vote.
Obama won among the majority of white voters as well as black voters, which is a very hopeful sign. Obama needs to reach out more to latino and asian folks to build one America.

The OP stated some minority groups have prejudice in reference to Latinos and asians.
If that were the case, then logic would conclude the same thought process for the AA's.

By the way, what's your excuse for the fact that most blacks voted for Obama?

36. Prejudices played a role? WOW. In a Democratic contest? |
|
That's a pretty shitty indictment of Asians and Hispanics. I'm sure they are thrilled to be identified as being minority groups that have "some people" with prejudices that "played a role" in the results of the election.
Of course they didn't LOOK at the issues and decide on their candidate based on them. Naaah, it HAD to be that they had some 'RACISTS' with prejudices, all ready and eager to put their candidate over the top!!!
That's just a horrific post. Horrific. Offensive, divisive, an indictment.
Many proud black voters voted for Obama, an overwhelming number, in fact--are they "racists" too? Or are they simply pleased to support a black candidate with whom they identify? His issues are their issues?
But those Asians and Latinos...they're prejudiced?

No wonder our schools are in trouble.
Do you teach your Asian and Latino students that the reason they support Clinton is because they've got prejudiced people in their ranks? But that black and white people vote for Obama because he's such a swell guy?
:eyes:
You've got some major issues--and you have the nerve to suggest that people calling you on that kind of vitriolic, insidious shit need valium? I'd say we need a ten foot pole and some PEPPER spray--to keep that kind of shit at a safe distance.
You need some perspective, proportion, and reality. That kind of broadbrushed crap is OUT OF FASHION here.

But I read what you said.
You were not saying that Asians and Latinos have their fair share of prejudiced jerks. You were ascribing prejudice as a clear and pervasive factor in their decision to vote for Clinton and NOT for Obama.
I think you don't even realize that you are 'equal opportunity challenged,' to put it kindly.
