1. It means look in a mirror
Don't just sit there and wait for someone to come along and affect change FOR you. We're the ones who can make that change for the better for our country.

2. It was my favorite line...
what it means for me is that WE must make the change. No more sitting on our bums and complaining. Get active to save our country. As an African American, it reminded me of how civils rights activists must have felt, prior to and during the 1960s, as they put their lives in danger, to change jim crow. My wife and I both enjoyed the whole speech, but that line really moved us.

It means stop fetishizing leadership and start doing.

It's a welcome change of pace after so many years of leader fetish, from "Big Dog" to "43."
