"Give us your tired, your hungry..." HRC is for the people of America
Part of her victory speech in NYC.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"And I want to thank all my friends and family, particularly my mother, who
was born before women could vote and is watching her daughter on this stage tonight."

~snip~

I also -- I also -- I also want to congratulate Senator Obama for his victories
tonight, and I look forward to continuing our campaign and our debate about how
to leave this country better off for the next generation, because that is the work
of my life.

That is why I started my career fighting for abused and neglected children, children
who had drawn the short straw in life, because this nation gave me every opportunity,
and we can do the same for every child.

We must continue to be a nation that strives always to give each of our children
a better future, a nation of optimists who believe our best days are yet to come,
a nation of idealists, holding fast to our deepest values, that we are all created
equal, that we all deserve to fulfill our God given potential, that we are destined
for progress together.

It's the ideal inscribed on the base of the Statute of Liberty in this great
city that has overlooked our harbor through wars and depression and the dark days
of September 11, the words we all know that give voice to America's embrace
-- "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe
free" -- a constant reminder that here in America, we face our challenges and
we embrace all of our people.

So today we say with one voice -- give us the child who wants to learn, give us
the people in need of work, give us the veterans who need our care. We say give
us this economy to rebuild and this war to end. Give us this nation to heal, this
world to lead, this moment to seize.

I know we're ready."

1. I heard her too. I try to catch her speaking when ever possible
She's so much more than a cheerleader. She actually know how to speak on issues.

2. Exactly what her man Carville was thinking when he sabotaged Ohio Dem voters
because he believed America NEEDED 4 more years of George Bush, especially the poor.

I wonder why people haven't noticed that TeamClinton didn't share this level of concern 4yrs ago.

5. I just wish people would google DLC + Hillary Clinton
that might cut her support down by about 95%.

3. Fluffy and derivative
Where's the substance the other guy supposedly lacks? Not in this speech, certainly.

4. We are being snookered about Hillary right now, the media is sand bagging on purpose
The media is deliberately holding back the dirt on Hillary right now

If you don't know what DLC is, do some research. You might not be so excited about
a candidate who is a member of a pro Iraq war organization that is also anti populist.

Further, the media is sandbagging right now - on purpose.

They want Hillary to be the nominee so that they can go back to running all of the Hillary and Bill dirt 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will hear "I did not have sex with that woman" and
"that depends on what the definition of is is", and WhiteWater Gate, Travel Gate, Bimbo Gate and more.

We will hear about Hillary's campaign donors, plus ALL dirt from when Bill was president and governor.

And more bimbos will come out of no where.

We are being snookered by the Rupert Murdock and GE media.

7. Where's the substance?
It's funny how HRC's speeches are as rhetorical as BO's speeches, yet he is the one constantly criticized for a lack of substance.
