Have Coulter, Limbaugh, Santorum, Tom Delay, Dobson and Hannity lost their relevance?
Those people in my title are all considered conservative leaders in this country. They all were against McCain, and McCain pretty much sealed the nomination last night. What does that mean for the right wing radio host and religious nutjobs? Have they completely lost power now? They threw all the stones at McCain that they could and they could not stop him. Is this the end of Limbaugh and Dobson controlling this country?

5. Very true
that they contributed to conservative victories in the recent past after they were unleashed by reagan who did away with the fairness doctrine in the 80's.

9.  Sorry, I didn't mean to snark at you.
I was just dissing people I intensely dislike, and that includes the stupid people who actually listen to them and agree with them.

4. I think its rather telling
that McCain would have their everlasting support if he said he hated minorities, hated gays, hated immigrants and would call a convention to see if the constitution was still relevant today since it is a document which gives liberties to all citizens.

7. This is my favorite story out of this campaign, and I'm waiting for the MSM to seriously report it.

For decades, the conservative movement and the Republican party have been led by the talk radio vanguard that were able to enforce message discipline and party unity.

What we're seeing is a revolution against that vanguard from Republican voters -- *real* conservatives, the ones the talk radio demagogues say they speak for! -- throwing off the shackles of thought that the radio regime is trying to throw on them, and illuminating the talk radio demagogues not as mainstream Republicans but as the extremists we've always said they are.

Every day this revolution goes on and McCain gains strength is one more kick in the proverbial crotch to talk radio elitists.

When will the mainstream media tell *this* story?

8. Local radio nut in here in Nashville, rabidly pro-Romney since his man Fred dozed off,
explains the Tennessee vote (which went Huckabee) like this: counties with lots of retired military and less educated, voted McCain; evangelicals and more religiously bigoted, voted Huckabee; well educated and open minded went for Romney.

You can't make this stuff up.

10. After they purged..
...all the un-pure wing nuts they discovered....

They were talking to themselves! LOL!

Seriously, the vile despicable hatred that pours out of Mann Colter, Pills Limpballs, Hannity, etc has finally driven off anyone with a shred of decency in their body, IMHO.
