Hillary Si! Obama No! -- Que?
One of the big developments on the Democratic side last night was the huge turnout by Latinos for Sen. Hillary Clinton, winning that key demographic by a two-to-one margin in two states Sen. Barack Obama lost -- New Jersey and California.

12. Doubtful.
The Hispanic/Latino community tends to be both very traditional- Democratic and very traditional-patriotic. If Hillary is the nominee, she'll win the Hispanic vote on the former. If Obama's the nominee, he'll lose Hispanics to McCain on the latter.

I will GOTV for Obama until I drop from exhaustion here in Texas. I know plenty of others who will too. Don't bet too confident Texas will go to Hillary.

2. She lost AA voters by an even larger margin
and guess what, the next states voting don't have big latino populations. I hope you're looking forward to her losses on Saturday and next Tuesday. And it's such a shame she's only raised a third of what he did in January.

4. Not so clear in New Mexico.. and inthe general , if McCain is the repub nom
he will pull some hispanics based upon his support of immigration reform and his conservative stance on social issues.

Better worry more about losing the african american vote of Obama doesn't either win or get the VP slot on the ticket.

13. It is pretty widely acknowledged among sociologists
that the most prevalent racial prejudice in the United States amongst ethnic groups are the negative stereotypes that Latino and Asians hold against Blacks; these negative stereotypes are reciprocated, but not to as strong a degree. It is ironic that the history of race in Central America may influence our election more than the history of race in the United States.

14. Racism comes from both sides
The main racism is in the black vs. latino gangs. I expect this from freepers not from here. Just look up the gangs it has been going on since the 70's. A lot of rappers have tried to stop black vs. latino gang wars. And I do mean wars,.
