"Time is on Barack Obama's side as his momentum grows"
Coast to coast, everywhere you looked, the Democratic presidential candidates - and more importantly, the voters - shattered stereotypes and defied conventional wisdom.

Barack Obama, who was criticized by Hillary Clinton's supporters as the "black" candidate with little cross-racial appeal, won caucuses in some of the whitest states imaginable - Utah, Minnesota, Idaho, North Dakota and Kansas - along with largely black Georgia and Alabama.

...Assuming the candidates more or less split the main prize of California, the Democratic race today will be deadlocked. And that is bad news for Clinton.

In one remarkable month, Obama erased Clinton's double-digit lead in national polls, raised more than twice as much money - $32 million to $13.5 million - and destroyed any notion that the Democratic presidential nomination is Clinton's to lose.

1. Obama is growing his appeal in every way.
And may I say I am amazed by this organization he built from scratch.

2. I'd say even without INCREASING momentum, the nom is now OBAMA'S to lose, tho I know it doesn't ...
sound right to say that.

The upcoming period (post Super Tues/pre March 4) should establish Obama as the CLEAR front-runner, unless some reversal happens.

Here's my (humbly put forward, ahem) analysis:

3. Time is on our side, yes it is
It is quite amazing isn't it? Barack was fairly recently lagging behind by huge margins on a national level, and it looked like Super Tuesday might push Obama and his campaign to the limit.

My how that all changed! Barack has made amazing strides, lead an inspiring campaign, and has put together a well funded, well organized ground operation. There's a long way to go in this primary race of attrition that's sure to come, and if Obama can keep the momentum going forward... a lengthy battle certainly favors him.

Going forward, I think Barack needs to focus attention heavily on Texas. I see it as a state he can definitely steal away from the Clinton camp; its delegates would be invaluable in a race where things are too close and every delegate is highly sought. Ah well... I'm sure his campaign has something in mind. The next couple of weeks are going to be very exciting.
