So much for the right wing media's Conservative agenda. Fuck you Rush,
Fuck you Coulter. At least the GOP will have a real American hero running
against our Gal.

1. Real American Hero??? Who??? That traitor McCain?
The guy that spilled his guts as a prisoner of war??? The guy who let bush** talk about his family like they were dirt under his feet??

What a hero.

2. You're Entitled To Your Opinion
I think American soldiers are allowed to sign false confessions under duress... They are just not allowed to compromise the security of other soldiers...

That's neither here nor there...

Most folks see McCain as a hero whether we think he is or not...

I found the tone hilarious...

3. McCain is viewed as a hero for not abandoning his fellow POWs.
The story is that he was offered a release and he declined, citing that it would betray the other POWs.

He does have a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome, though. That's why I call him Craven McCain. If he were a Dem, the GOP would be swearing that he was a ridiculously incompetent pilot who got shot down due to human error and endangered everyone else. If they made fun of Max Cleland, they would tear McCain down, too.

Funny how it's only Democratic veterans who get the tar and feathers from the right wing.

6. McCain has also been know to have been treated in a hospital
that was reserved for high ranking Viet Cong officials.

Maybe you should read what a lot of his fellow Viet Nam vets think of him.

8. Let the Republicans trash McCain for his military service. I will not participate.
The man was a POW. His father was an admiral. Of course he got "special attention" from the enemy. I doubt he enjoyed it. I wouldn't want to be in that position.

I won't support McCain for president, of course, but I won't knock his military services. Also, he's the only Republican candidate who has come out against torture as U.S. policy.

10. I don't care if you participate or not. There were a lot of prisoners
who DIDN'T bow down to the enemy. They didn't come home.

He also is an impediment to the families of POWs being able to view records or debriefings that would possible tell them what happened to their loved ones.

And right off the bat after he gets back he gets into politics. And what happens? He's almost indicted because he was up to his ass in the savings and loan scandal.

Stick up for McCain if you want. That's your business.

Like I said, read what other honorable Viet Nam vets have to say about the man.

5. The picture of McCain hugging GWB
is imprinted in my mind and will forever be. That says all I need to know about him.

9. I agree and I hope that the Democrats run that photo a lot!
But I won't attack McCain for his military service.

7. McCain was willing to bring death from above to a country in which he had...
no business being. If that makes him a hero...
