General Election Poll State of Washington: Obama 55, McCain 38 -- Clinton 46, McCain 46
This surprised me. Obama is 17 points ahead of McCain in WA but Clinton is tied in a blue state!

Obama shows far more electability now...

http://www.surveyusa.com/electionpolls.aspx

Obama 55, Mac 38

Clinton 46, Mac 46

That's a BIG difference.

Please recommend if you are for Barack

3. How selective of you---Look at the results for Indiana and Kentucky
Neither of our candidates fares well against McCain. This is what I maintain. Obama is no more electable than Hillary.

7. THose are red states -- No Dem has won those states in quite some time
So those states actually don't matter, McCain will romp in a red state against any Dem.

It's the purple and blue states that a Dem can win that are important, NOT KY and IN!

Thanks for letting me explain that :)

15. Name the last time a democrat won Kentucky or Indiana?

Obama helps us in swing states and red leaning (red momentum - states where democrats have faired well in the last couple election cycles) states.

24. I'll play... Indiana in 1964 by LBJ, Kentucky in 1996 by Bill Clinton (arguably due to Perot)
BTW I'm not trying to make a statement. Just demonstrating that I'm an electoral history nerd.

20. Obama does much better in WA than HRC, HRC and Obama do about as well in Indiana
and HRC runs better vs. Obama against McCain in KY, but still loses.

13. Polls are not GOD. With so many moving parts in an early vote state
they can do little more than provide and informed guess.

I didn't want to believe that they were right about California but I had a feeling that they were.

12. His greater electability alone is sufficient reason to back him
It's not as if we simply dreamed that Hillary has high negatives and over half the country who can never vote for her.

The more people see Obama, the better he does.

17. If Candidate A and Candidate B have near the same policy plans
Only Candidate A wins GE polls by 17 and Candidate B ties the R in same poll =

Vote for Candidate A!

22. Hillary Clinton and Obama are miles apart
Hillary's arguing for the truly radical plan of universal healthcare

her audacity is admirable

she represents the best possible promise of change

the real thing, not empty rhetoric

23. that's nonsense
Hillary is the radical candidate

imagine: universal health care

and note, too, that Obama is hypocritical about lobbyists

his current campaign is partly financed by lobbyists.....would be okay if he didn't make such a point of criticizing others who do this
