|
I'm sure they will spend it more wisely this time around.
Maybe in a month they can end up 20 points behind Obama in the polls.
But it's your money, spend it as you wish.

I expect 0bama will win, and Clinton will not. That's okay - the number of times my candidate has lost far outnumber those who have won. But I'm pleased to give my money to the only viable campaign not willing to stand beside me. It makes me feel better, and that's worth the expense.

you're comparing your contribution to DU, and whether it was noticed, to whether your contribution to Clinton is noticed compared to Big Pharma and Insurance lobbies.
the comparison is nonsensical, and thus my response.

local non profits. A gift of $100 or $250 or even $500 isn't going to generate a lot of attention.
I did make a $500 contribution on my anniversary last year, and I was plugged into a donor cultivation track. But eventhen I didn't expect anyone to get excited about it.
Edit to add: I work in non profit development, so my prespective is probably different than the average person.

67. Me too. I really would like to see her win. I mentioned to a friend |
|
that I was afraid she would bring out every Republican to vote, and my friend said "and you don't think Obama will too"? The only problem I see is that the "good old boys" in Washington will be working overtime to make her fail, and that makes me sad. Like they did when she tried to solve the health insurance problem during Bill's term.
