Let me get this straight:
Hillary is fighting for her campaign life against a once little known and Clinton-labeled "inexperienced" Senator, but people are claiming she can trounce McCain?

Vote Obama!

12. I don't remember hearing that ... this was more typical coverage
Hillary led in South Carolina for most of last year, until Oprah — hey, where she is now? — helped crystallize Obama’s backing in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Post-Oprah, and post-Iowa, Obama has opened up a big lead in South Carolina. If that wilts under the double-barreled attack of Bill and Hill, his victory may come with a big discount

16. Hillary had a big lead in SC until she lost the support of the AA community.

And you know that Fredda. I have seen your posts and know that you are too smart to be pushing this garbage.
I hope you are not arguing that Oprah had so much influence that she could convince 80% of black voters to go with
Obama when she was there for one rally.

There is absolutely no proof to your argument.

Two main reason that the AA people chose to switch.

1. They saw that in Iowa and NH, Obama was seriously drawing white votes.
2. They were angered that the Clinton surrogates including Bill had introduced elements of racism into the campaign.

I think you are politically astute enough to know this.

8. and he has the momentum and cash to keep on going
while the Clintons are basically stalled in the same ole same ole. with their piggy Rovesque guy Penn flop sweatin'. What a disgusting piece of shit he is - what are they thinking having Him in their camp?

the more I think about this, the more I realise how amazing Obama's win was last night. This never would have been predicted a month ago or so.

People are pumped up and ready to fight - you can't turn that tap off - he will roll on! this is history being made. this is exciting. this is something to wake us all up.

I'll give you anything the PtB are a bit worried and pacing right now - plan didn't go exactly as they hoped. ;) they are very very afraid of The Other Superpower - that's us. ;)

5. For the votes of Democratic voters.
I haven't the faintest idea whether Obama will attract non-Democratic votes more than Clinton will, but even I can see that you can't extrapolate a primary result to a general election.
