Here's how much I hate Barack Obama
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 04:59 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
Speaking as a consistent critic of Senator Obama, here's how down on Barack I am...

I sincerely want him on Hillary's ticket if she wins. (And I would not want her on his ticket if he wins, because it would undercut his symbolism.)

In fact, I have never taken such an interest in the VP spot on a ticket before, but Barack is political gold. Even though I sincerely believe he would face extraordinary challenges against McCain as a Presidential candidate, I still want him in the picture.

Behold the corrosive power of hate!

Keep Hate Alive?

You confuse me.

3. I seriously doubt you'll get your wish

Hillary's got one natural choice to offset her weaknesses: Gen. Wesley Clark.

7. Agreed--Clark will help her vs. McCain more than Obama would
and I say this as an Obama supporter (who is hoping Biden gets VP).

4. Obama wasn't my first choice, ... I don't see any reason to hate him. He is
just as qualified to to be president as Bill Clinton was, though Obama is, as I understand it, older that Bill was when he was running.

5. Why would you assume Hillary is going to win?

9. The word "if" is found in many fine dictionaries, available at your local library

6. I think you've been one of the least offensive people on this board
I don't always agree with your positions (in fact I often disagree), but they usually are based on critical thinking. We seem to focus on the emotional and obnoxious ones on either side here, of which there are several. But the reasonable ones are also noticed, at least as far as I'm concerned.

10. I think he would lose the election, that's why.
Hillary is also political gold, though in a different way.

The moment I come to believe that Barack would be the stronger candidate (not is, but would be after he is defined by the pug machine) I will shift my support.

I have always been 100% electability. Their policy differences are too minor to even talk about.
