MSNBC is saying Clinton should give up the fight if black people get mad
Tweedy asked if Clinton should give it up if the delegate system ends up favoring her because black people will get mad but he didn't ask whether Obama should give it up if it favors him.

2. It's so obvious that MSNBC loves Obama and has little regard for HRC...
It's sad, really, to watch those people pretend like they have any real sway with the population...

18. It reminds me of the lead up to the war.
The media falling all over itself, the chanting, the bandwagoning, the support from those who are ignorant of the issues.

Gotta love blind faith.

Lee Atwater/karl Rove wouldn't be proud of you, though, they would just be bored.

Get some new terminology at least. Maybe you've got a macro set up on your computer, you just hit Ctrl-R and it pops out "RACE BAITING."

7. This is the point, and I've seen this all over the place.
What he is saying is that if the politicians steal this away from the voters with the super delegates, black voters may feel betrayed because a bunch of rich white politicians just screwed over the first black candidate with a real chance.

If the popular vote goes to Obama, and the super delegates ignore that vote and award them to Clinton... Do you really think that the black voters are going to vote democratic? I wouldn't blame them.

The super delegates should reflect the popular vote.

The Super delegates have been around probably since before you were born. They have never anointed anyone and Matthews knows that that p k Count you out? Good don't let the door hit you on the way out. Vote for a repuk and see what happens.

PS: I'm queer, no one REALLY wants my vote either, but they'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands before I let a motherfucking Republican win.

45. That's fine. I hope you find that to be comforting when McCain picks the next Supreme Court justice
who tips the balance of the Court so far to the right it will take at least a generation to get it back . . .

And when the two liberal justices that Hillary's husband nominated retire and McCain picks THEIR replacements, even further cementing a right wing majority for the rest of your lifetime.

Not to mention all of the other right wing Federalist Society judges that he'll install on circuit and district courts all around the country - judges who will serve long after Hillary and her vice president after would have been in office had they both been elected to two full terms.

And when the new solid right wing majority on the Supreme Court and all of the lower courts eats YOUR lunch and takes away legal protections for YOUR children and grandchildren, you will at least find solace in the fact that you once told the Democrats to kiss your _____.

24. Are you saying Obama supporters would most likely
let the Repugs win in the general? If they would, then we deserve to lose. They know how this delegate thing works, it's been that way for years. What if the reverse were to happen, would you blame Hillary's supporters for not voting for Obama? Give me a break. We are all Dem's and when push comes to shove we vote Dem, women and blacks included.

"The super delegates should reflect the popular vote." in the real world they should, but very rarely if ever do. Just the facts.

25. Tweety said Obama is a Black man who can "Talk". Tweety is a race baiter
who also was among the first to call New Hampshire voters "racist" interjecting race into the race. And he called John Edwards a spoiler, too.

Anyone who takes Tweety seriously is demented.

Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 06:08 PM by quickesst
will use every excuse in the book, except a good one. They understand that because of who their candidate it, they are the only ones who can get away with playing the race card as if on speed dial. It's used here more for a get out of facing facts card, than for anything remotely substaniial. It's built in, and one they are confident will automatically shut down any real debate as to character, experience, and actual ability to be commander in chief. This will undoubtedly be proven shortly after this is posted. It's fucking bizarre at times. Thanks.

44. Your distorting his point
He was speaking about what could happen if it is so close that the person with the higher number of pledged Democrats lost because the other had significantly more super delegates. He said the supporters of the other would be furious - then gave the example of Obama losing this way.
