2. I'm for Obama. But I think Ohio & Virginia will be more important.
Of course it would be best if all the states got a voice this time around. The excitement building for both candidates should, in the end, help out whoever is the nominee.

I don't mind this prolonged fight and the arguments and cheap theatrics that go with it. I ain't scared of democracy. I think the longer we run in the spring, the stronger we run in the fall.

21. My prediction is that the Clinton-Obama votes will fall along the Bush results
Urban areas will go to Obama while rural areas will go to Clinton-Edwards.

22. PM me about how I can help
I'm in Houston too. My family's split two-two for the candidates (along generational lines, no less).
I'd be happy to help where & when I can. Texas hasn't mattered in a nomination race since 1988!

8. After careful consideration of all available information
and being set straight on some bad information which had made me decide to go with Obama...I am voting for John Edwards. Everyone of voting age in my household is voting for John Edwards and I am steadily campaigning for him with my work colleagues and friends.
I'm sorry--I just cannot hold my nose and vote. I'm voting for the one who represents ME.

14. There was an article here last week that said
John Edwards himself asked that we vote for one or the other candidate and not waste our vote on him.
This was verified (you can read it in the John Edwards forum) as being patently false and was a "mistruth" by one of the other candidates. He never said such a thing.

To that part of Texas?

26. Well what I'm saying is
Houston is a great city. It has a very large black population and very well educated white and black population. Very smart and successful people there. These are groups Obama does very well in. Its one of the best cities in the country.

17. No. She won't do well anywhere except a couple of urban areas
And some of the really white rural areas.

She'll do OK in the valley, too.

She will get beaten badly in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and at all the universities.

25. She gets a lot of money from McAllen
and she'll take Webb County. Most of my friends here are voting for her. I was voting for Edwards, but am now voting for Obama.

23. Yes, absolutely.
I'm for Obama, but Clinton could stand to shore up her support her. I think this part of the country is really fluid in its support. We haven't mattered in a nomination fight in 20 years. This is THE BEST time to get Democrats and would-be Democrats charged up.

16. Household split Obama-Clinton
I am for Obama and my wife is for Clinton. I almost had her convinced at one point... in the end she said she is voting for hillary because she is a women...

To be noted... both of use are die hard progressives... we will vote for who wins the nomination if Texas is in play.
