Can Hillary win using the full-Rudy strategy?
Ignore the upcoming states and focus on the big battles down the road. Have staffers "voluntarily" not get paid for a month. Dig into your own pockets (hattip to Mitt).

Take a look at the upcoming states:

Feb 9:
LA caucus 67 delegates
NEB caucus 31
VIRGIN ISLANDS 9

Feb 10:
MAINE caucus 34

Feb 12:
DC primary 37
MD primary 99
VA primary 101

Feb 19
HAWAII caucus 29
WA caucus 97
WI primary 92

Find the Hillary wins. Best chance to me seems to be Maine and Wisconsin, maybe Virginia. But Maine is a caucus, in which Obama's superior organization and inspired supporters are usually decisive, and Wisconsin borders Illinois. Chicago is right near it, and it borders Minnesota which was an amazing result last night for Obama.

Other than a major stumble by Obama, he will go into the March 4 mini-Super Tuesday (Ohio, Texas, RI, Vermont) with a substantial advantage in every area: delegates, states, popular vote, momentum, and CASH. Hillary would love to have a debate twice a day in hopes Obama would make some major mistake that reverses everything (like maybe looking at his watch?).

I heard a Hillary staffer talk about Wisconsin, Ohio and Texas. They're trying to get the media to downplay the other states because they know they won't win them. They're looking down the road, but as Rudy found out, by the time the campaign gets there, the race might be decided.

1. problem is - the more people know about Obama, the more they like him. Not so with Hillary
Especially with Bill mouthing off.

I think the fact that Hill is putting in $5mil of her own money while Obama is getting over $30 mil in fresh contributions speaks volumes about what will happen.

4. So do I, but the Hillary strategist I heard on television yesterday seemed to focus on it.
He seemed to be trying to turn Wisconsin into some kind of big showdown for the media, the only state that mattered, much as Rudy tried to convince the media that Florida was the showdown state that would determine the frontrunner.

Besides Obama's seeming advantage there, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington state all have more delegates. The focus on Wisconsin was odd.

7. All Hillary has to do is keep her losses close and pick off a state or two.

8. I Thought You Meant Where She Used 9/11 to Justify Her IWR Vote
"On another personal note, I come to this decision from the perspective of a Senator from New York who has seen all too closely the consequences of last year's terrible attacks on our nation. In balancing the risks of action versus inaction, I think New Yorkers who have gone through the fires of hell may be more attuned to the risk of not acting. I know that I am."

9. he has the same problem she did a week ago
Without winner take all, it is hard to put someone away. It's the reason he is still in the race, after all (new York, nj and California have more delegates than all the states he has won combined, idaho and Utah? Brooklyn has more delegates that those two) he has to blow her out to get her out.
