Political junkies check in... |

Regardless of which camp you belong to, how many of you are enjoying seeing the political process play out? Ever since I've been able to vote (1992) it's over with by Super Tuesday. I think this process is fascinating to watch and can't wait to see how it all plays out. The entrenched delegate warfare going on and the struggle for every congressional district may be messier but it is far for intriguing that a winner take all system.
It reminds me of all the rules for how NFL teams get into the playoffs and all the scenarios that develop toward the end of the season.
A question I have is that with the Republican contest all but over with, McCain has to start working on his base. With the Democrats still trying to determine who will be their candidate, will that help us by giving us more air time with the unfolding political drama (and showing that we have 2 strong candidates) OR will detract from going full barrels toward McCain?

1. I think it helps us, provided the Dem. race doesn't get too slimey. |

As long as the news is all about the Dems, that's a good thing.

2. The only downside I see is Dems having to spend more $$. =[ |
