Think about it: At the time of the Pew poll, the Democrats were split about 50-50 in voter preference for Obama and Clinton.
But only 31% of all polled said that the media has been too tough on Hillary, while 53% said it's been fair.
This means that there are, contrary to what you said, many Hillary supporters that believe the media has been fair to her.
But my point is, MORE people believe it has been too tough on her than those who believe it has been too tough on Obama, and that includes many Obama supporters.
