They have destroyed every liberal blog with hysterical spam. They can't say "Clinton" without some juvenile petty insult. They Lie about everything. If Clinton wins, she "cheated."
How much of this S*T can people take before it starts turning on their candidate. and you'd better believe it is a reflection on Obama that he lets this go on in the blogs.

how much of this Sh*t people can take- it was the supporters that another candidate who went on gleefully comparing Obama campaign rallies to Jonestown that got me turning on Clinton. I think that was the straw. There were cheap shots before that but I've got thick skin. The nastiness just kept going on and on and on and on She wasn't my favorite, but I don't think she's evil or that she wouldn't be a good President. (I still have more respect for her than most of her supporters here) But because so many of her supporters have figured anything - any attack, any smear, any innuendo - was fair game because winning was all that mattered, I decided to play by their rules. It's a bitter harvest left here in the blogs but it isn't just one side sowing the seeds. Enjoy.

a country muchless lead it.
His campaign is superficial and plays to the lowest denominator.
He's probably a nice person, but so is my neighbor. That doesn't mean he should or could be a president.
Economists say that Hillarys Health and Economy plan are excellent. They say that Obamas are not even credible.
He's nice, he's just not there yet.

I don't think Iraq will determine the outcome. I think she can match his strength. I think GOPers are more racist than anti-Hillary. They will mask their racism with the supposed hero status of McCain. As I said, I hope I'm wrong.

13. I don't hate him. I hate his campaign. I think he's a totally manufactured candidate. |
|
"If it feels good, believe it." That's the way it comes across to me. I despise his communications director, Gibbs, whose PAC created the heinous Dean-morphs-into-Osama ad.
If I were to hate him, though, it would be because of his refusal to disassociate himself with the "cure the gays" movement, which is vile, malicious, and lethal to young gays, and repugnant to what are supposed to be the American values of everyone is created equal, with ostensibly equal opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Gays can't be assured of any of those in America.
American democracy sucks, we've reached the point where many of us feel like we've got a gun to the side of our head every time we vote. I haven't been happy about any nominee vote since Carter ran for a second term and since the vote I cast for Ann Richards as governor.
I'll vote for him. I'm in Oregon. My vote may count. But if I lived in Illinois, I would sit it out. I don't think he cares about my vote anyway, to tell you the truth.

You begin a post calling people names if they don't agree with a candidate and now you tell me to blow you because I said I didn't hate the candidate.
Very odd. And rather telling.
I do not support Mr. Obama. I do not support Ms. Clinton. I have reasons for both. Come the election I do not know what I will do, but I will not support a candidate solely based on the fact that they have a (D) next to their name.
Neither candidate has done anything to impress me or earn my vote. I do no cast "ugliness and hate" upon either candidate. I just do not support them. Sorry if this offends your obviously delicate sensibilities.

and I think Obama is an impressive guy --- I just don't see all that everyone else claims to see in him. JFK?
And, I also don't feel I could trust him ---
You're not going to get suitable single-payer health care from EITHER Hillary nor Obama, for one.
I'm from a blue state so I have the luxury of saying "no" to both Hillary and Obama ---
And let me just add that CORPORATE-fascism is the most important issue in this campaign --- CORPORATE-fascism has delivered global warming --- and it may be too late.
Destruction of species and total pollution of the planet.
CORPORATE-fascism and corporate influence of any kind has to be put back in the box --- as soon as possible.
That's the message Edwards was brave enough to be delivering to you --- and you should have listened --- !!!
We now have CORPORATE-fascist mercenaries in our privatized war on Iraq --- this way beyond a few companies warprofiteering in earlier days!
McCain is an old, warmongering fart --- but the GOP will steal the election in any way they can. Democrats very likely had a larger majority in 2006 than reported -- stolen by the GOP.
Soooo --- you're going to need a HUGE turn out --- and you're going to need a HUGE majority to protect either of these candidates.
Remember the roughing up that Hillary and Bill took the first time around --- and how poorly they defended themselves. Just say say "defend" is laughable!!!
and, as for Obama, they will probably call out every racist from under every rock --- !!!
Let me be not the first to suggest it ... but the Democratic party consists mainly of WOMEN and African Americans --- let's join Hillary and Obama together ---
I think women should be on TOP ---

29. Actually, I rather like Obama |
|
Discernment. One must be careful when attaching too much significance to the actions, words, or excesses of a candidate's supporters. Increasingly, some of Obama's supporters creep me out. Clearly, Obama is a very charismatic figure and as such will tend to attract all kinds of people, and not all of them are going to be tasteful or, shall we say, skillful in the exercise of restraint. I think this could be said of a percentage of any viable candidate's supporters.
I think what bothers some people is the perception that Obama feeds on the adulation given to him by the crowds. This is OK in a rock star but is both less seemly and more disturbing in a political leader. It is, also, an entirely human response. Attaching over much weight to that does this candidate an injustice.
Many of us distrust the whole "cult of personality" thing, while at the same time longing for a leader capable of establishing just that. We want it, partly because we believe that might be necessary to move this country in a healthy direction again. We distrust it, because history has show more often than not the cult of personality thing winds up biting the people in the ass.
More bothersome than any of this is that a real clash of ideas has not happened in this campaign. Rather, it seems to be all about personality. Those of us who feel this country is in deep shit want to know that thought and consideration are being given to issues vital to the nation. While I am sure both Obama and Clinton have done so, the personality clash has drowned out the voice of reason.
