This is why Clinton is now, always has been and always will be 'The Frontrunner'.

1. If Hillary was only winning small caucus states 70%-30% they would be saying the same thing as Obama
They want a horse race, do you think they're going to call the nomination this soon in the race? Even though it looks mathematically impossible for Hillary to win at this point, they're still going to draw it out.

3. You don't know that
You need to use context.

Not saying that Hillary isn't the frontrunner or not, but I don't think a loss of that magnitude by Obama would mean that we would be writing Obama's obituary.

4. Amazing, isn't it? They would say Obama is DOOOOMED, he should
get out of the race. Hillary, however, is presumed to win, so now we applaud Obama's victories, which aren't "real" in NE and WA, but wait for the presumed nominee to inherit her title in a few weeks. Really dumb.

8. You said it.
Very good point, I can imagine what we would hearing.

When she has won, it is close. When he wins, he blows her away. Why are we not talking about that?

12. It has not been mentioned anywhere that I have seen or heard. His margins of victory
are generally huge. It isn't even acknowledge except to make excuses about it.

9. I agree.
And you know what they're doing instead? They're saying this could go on for a long, long time--basically until they can find a way to install her.

11. I agree
The funny thing is that I'm watching MSNBC and nobody seems to be interested in anything but what happens in LA. I guess that's par for the course. NE and WA are already old news I guess.

17. I agree, going into SC...
...they were all doom and gloom for Obama. They were even saying a 8 to 10 point win wasn't enough. They were saying that if he didn't win a certain percentage of the white vote he was doomed. Of course, as we all know, he won SC in a blow out against all predictions. However, that was not the narrative going in - it was that he was doomed. Had he won by 8 points, and only won 10% of the White Vote as the polls predicted they would have said he was dead. Some of them still claimed it was over for him.

They keep diminishing his wins because he has so much black support, and yet they do not diminish Hillary's victories because she has so much female support.

They completely ignore the fact that Obama did well in two of the whitest states in America: Iowa and New Hampshire. (And many others on Super Tuesday.)
