Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., according to campaign finance records examined by ABC News, in what some good government groups said created an appearance of impropriet

If you hate the Bushes, no one has more in common with them than the Clintons.
"The royal family of Saudi Arabia gave the Clinton facility in Little Rock about $10 million, roughly the same amount it gave toward the presidential library of George H.W. Bush, according to people directly familiar with the contributions."

those are exactly the kinds of behaviors that have troubled me about the Clintons since day 1. I've never felt they were TRUE progressives, and certainly Bill was far more DLC than progressive (and governed accordingly). I had some hope that HRC would return to her more progressive roots once she ascended to the Senate, but sadly she has done little more than cozy up to the right wing fascists who foster the US Imperialist foreign policy that kills innocent men, women, & children in order to ratchet up profits for Haliburton and Big Oil.

I would be estatic if Obama got the nomination, and even more so if he picked Dennis Kucinich as his VP (a person can dream, can't they?). I will guarantee (a la Broadway Joe in 1969) that Obama will win BIG in November if he is our nominee. Can you say coattails? Can you say >61 Democrat senators? A much larger House majority??? Mark it down.

obama is playing the centrist card and as soon as he is in office the real direction comes out.

I hope DK grabs on the coat tails and tugs hard. I love the man for running on charecter but you can make some good political attachments right?

11. I think Obama has probably tempered some of his positions...
out of acknowledgement that he'll need to win at least a portion of the independent vote out there. But I would believe he'll do the right thing (not to mention the POPULAR thing) in removing US forces from the occupation of Iraq.

The bottom line, for me, is that he's generally a likeable guy, and even people who may not see eye to eye to him (including some republicans) will turn out to vote for him, or at least hear him out.

People care once again. It's been toooo long since I've seen that.
