I'm glad he's addressing the criticism of his being a pedaler of "false hope". He is doing better tonight than normal.
He's learning.

4. Seemed like a bit of a jab at Clinton |
|
A great play on words, and also a contrast to the warmonger

8. I don't care about jabs, but it was good of him to address the criticism |
|
I think it was wise of him to address this - it made him seem more human.

7. I wish Hillary had something to offer other than her word. |
|
Let's be honest: what do any of these politicians have to give us other than their word? I look at Obama's background of helping people and constitutional law, that's what makes me feel good about him.

10. Too bad you didn't watch the speech |
|
Then you'd know he always talks about specifics and the necessity for the country to come together to fight for the changes.

We'd ban insurance companies from denying you coverage because of a pre-existing condition.
And I won't wait another ten years to raise the minimum wage in this country - I will raise it to keep pace with inflation every single year.
BAM! You are now a proud member of the Obama Cult!

11. This is the first speech I've listened to from Obama,.... |
|
and from the sound of things, he has a lot more than hope to offer. I wish you had a chance to listen to the speech, he did a great job of addressing your concern.
