Lets make one big statement :

Are you going to support Clinton to be the nominee at least until Pennsylvania is finished with its primary?

5. I'm totally convinced she will Win
She is by far the superior candidate.
I realize now she is even better suited than Al Gore.

I don't think her campaign is presenting her best assets.
Listening to Bill's speech at VA Tech tonight, I was
astonished by things I'd never heard about HRC.

She is the best candidate, if people will take the trouble
to look and compare, she will win.

10. Hillary can support her by making calls- read details here!
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=8690527506

This is the ultimate campaign challenge: a thirty-minute phone bank race for Hillary Clinton in MD, VA, and ME.

*The calling is automated, so the list of calls will be sent to you.

02/09/2008 - 2/12/2008
Before 6:30 PM (CNT):

Ready Your Phone

1. DIAL IN: 1-866-258-4600

2. The automated voice will ask you, “If this is the phone where you would like to receive your calls, please press pound.”

3. PRESS #

4. The automated voice will ask you for your extension. You do NOT have an extension if you are making these calls from your home phone.

5. PRESS #

6. Then the automated voice will offer to read you the instructions. If you’ve never made ACTIVATE calls before, you should listen to them. Otherwise, the automated voice tells you that you can enter the Agent ID.

7. AGENT ID: 389 805 # (MA); 389 807# (ME); 389 808# (VA)

8. The automated voice will tell you to enter your PIN.
PIN: 2008 #

9. The automated voice will tell you to hang up your phone.

10. HANG UP YOUR PHONE

11. WAIT FOR YOUR PHONE TO RING in 30 seconds or less

12. When your phone rings, ANSWER YOUR PHONE.

13. You will hear some tones confirming your entrance into the system, then silence.

14. WAIT TO HEAR A BEEP: this means that you are on the line live with a caucus goer.

15. When you hear the beep, say:

Hi, my name is _________________ and I’m a volunteer calling on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign to
remind you that next Tuesday is the presidential primary in Maryland/Virginia/Maine. Hillary Clinton has spent the past 35 years fighting for American families and she has real solutions to tackle the tough issues we’re facing. I’m
supporting Hillary because she has a record that I know we can depend on.

→ Can Hillary count on you to cast your ballot next Tuesday?

— Great! It is vital that you not only vote next Tuesday but also encourage your friends and
family to support Hillary as well. Remember, Hillary is counting on you to cast your ballot next Tuesday.

· Hillary has the experience to meet the tough challenges of the Presidency with real solutions
because she knows solutions come from listening.
· After 8 years of President Bush, we need someone who will deliver urgent solutions to the big
economic problems we face by ending our housing crisis and jumpstarting our economy.
· Hillary Clinton is the only candidate in this race with a Healthcare plan to cover every American.
· As President, Hillary will rebuild the middle class, curb the influence of the special interests, and
restore this country to greatness.
· Hillary has made real change happen by protecting kids from abuse and helping 6 million children
get health care.
With all the challenges we face, we need a President who is ready to lead on day one. We need Hillary
Clinton. She has the passion, strength, and experience to give this country the new beginning it needs.

– Thank you for your time.

16. At the end of each call press the star (*) key on your touchtone phone to enter the result.

17. RECORD A SUPPORT CODE FOR EACH CALL
PRESS 1…..........Definitely Supports Hillary
PRESS 2…..........Leaning towards Hillary
PRESS 3…..........Undecided
PRESS 4…..........Support Barack Obama
PRESS 5…..........NOT Supporting Hillary or Republican
PRESS 6…..........Refusal
PRESS 7…..........Answering Machine/Call Back
PRESS 8…..........Early Hang up, Do not Call
PRESS 9…..........Spanish Speaker
PRESS 10………...Volunteer
PRESS 11…………Supporter AND needs follow up
PRESS 12……….. Already Voted

18. DO NOT HANG UP! As soon as you hit the number, the system will begin trying to connect you to the next caller, so be ready to do it again! You should not hang up the phone after each call.

19. Start back at step 14.

At 7:00 CNT

3.) We will reconvene here and compare phone call numbers. Whoever wins gets the bragging rights of helping HRC and American the most.

4.) We'll have another round 15 minutes later and another and another. It's like playing freerice.org!

*You are not obligated to make calls only to WA, although this event is restricted for that for consistency's sake. We encourage you to make calls to other post-Super Tuesday states. We also encourage you to start similar challenges.

*Calls will be secure. After talking to Clinton's National HQ, I was assured that my number will not appear on the caller ID, and my identity will be protected.

*Phone numbers will be provided to you by the site. Instructions and script are included as well.

*INVITE YOUR FRIENDS. INVITE AMERICA. INVITE THE WORLD!

GOOD LUCK!

GO HILLARY CLINTON!

13. She gave it a good run, hello Barak
I came to Clinton reluctantly, after Edwards dropped out. She's smart, tough, and experienced. She's been through the media meat grinder since '92 and come up smelling like a rose. I like her. I think she has the potential to be not only a good, but a great president.

Obama was my third choice, I won't lie about that. But we are gifted this year to have a primary that was rich and deep. The three candidates that have already dropped out were all qualified to hold the office, and my god so is Hillary. But it is not to be. The only way she could win now is with a nasty and divisive fight that would rip the party to shreds, while the republicans coast to a McCaine, Huckabee white house.

The smartest thing for her to do, if she's not already, is to start opening the back channels for a deal. She could have any position she wanted, from vp down, plus a couple of cabinet seats. She should do herself, and the party, a favor and take it. More, she should do the nation, and the world, a favor and take the deal. (and I hope John is getting a piece of the action too)

For those of us that didn't initially support Obama, it's not like he's chopped liver or anything. He's also smart, and tough, and experienced, and would it be so bad to have a president who can truly inspire us? Would it? The man is electrifying, and it's not all hype. Yes, he'll have to grow into the job, but so would have Hill, or John.

Whoever takes the oath next year will inherit probably THE most difficult presidency since Andy Johnson, and jesus christ and a host of angels couldn't save the next administration from a shitstorm of woe. The next president will have 4 years to stop the bleeding, and the next president will, at least in part, fail. The next president, will not, barring a major miracle, be re-elected. So lets get someone who inspires for 4 years, shit, we can use it. Can't we????

I wish John and Bill had done better. I wish Clinton had locked it up on 2/5. They didn't, she didn't. The only way she wins now is to win "ugly". I hope she doesn't do it.

I hate to make this analogy, but it must be made. Ronald Reagan was elected much more on his ability to inspire than on his record. He had to learn on the job. He surrounded himself with a brilliant cabinet. Not sayin I like him, mind you, but there is no denying that he was spectacularly successful. He achieved exactly what he wanted to for America, he had two spectacular gifts (and yeah, I remember Reagan) He could inspire trust, even in those who disagreed with him. He could get people who hated each other to work together.

Be clear, I don't like a damn the direction Reagan moved the country, but move it he did. He probably moved it as much as F.D.R. or Lincoln.

I see the same potential in Obama. Just potential, right now, but have we ever had a president who was ready for the job? Maybe he is...if not the messiah, then the leader that inspires for 20 years. We are so very overdue for another one.

So I'm tossing my chips in with Obama. He has the potential for greatness. He has a rich field of people to help him. (how a bout Richardson VP, Clinton State, Clark Def, Edwards AG, Gravel Interior, Kucinich UN) would that rock or what?

So say I "drank the kool-aid" if you will, I think I made an informed choice to support our party's apparent nominee, and rally around him and ensure not only that he wins, but wins resoundingly, with long coat-tails.

Our country has been taken away from us, and right now, today, Obama is our last, best, chance to take it back. Let's do it.
