Need Some Help from Those Who Have Attended Big Obama Arena Rallies |
|
Obama is going to speak at the 17,000 seat Kohl Center in Madison on Tuesday. The Doors will open at 6:15PM. I dont care to get front row seats, but I just want to get in. What time to people recommend my friends and I going?

1. Doors opened here at 3:30. |
|
We got in line about 2:45 and we were on the sides, about half way up - not bad seats, but not great either. Out of a 14,000 seat capacity, we had about 13-14,000 there. The floor was limited to those who had voted early and had their "I voted" stickers. This was 2 weeks ago, before Super Tuesday.
Now, considering how well he's doing, I'd suggest getting there one to two hours early.

4. Oh, I'm sure. Even at that point they had double the attendance they thought they'd have. |

3. 10,000 in Omaha on Thursday.. |
|
People started lining up at 11:30am, Doors opened at 3:30pm (the line was 6 or 7 blocks long at that point) and he finally talked at 6:00pm.
To get good seats, i'd show up at least 2 hours before the doors open. If you just want "a" seat, get there 1/2 hour before the doors open.
And take lots of pics! ;)
Good Luck!
