For Clinton Supporters
Does anyone know any other website other than the DU where the atmosphere is less biased. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy posting here, but as a relatively new poster, I have noticed one thing that really bothers me. Why is it that DU insists on posting on the Home page ninety percent Obama stuff. When a Clinton supporter posts a really good intelligent post, its buried faster than lightening, and on some of the Obama crap threads, those are there for days. I don't get it. :wtf: Don't tell its because its recommended, I have seen Clinton posts dashed down the list with far more recommendations than others that get far less. Just a thought.

3. There are far more Obama people here than Hillary people
You can vote for a thread; so it is much easier for Obama's supporters to push their posts onto the front page than Hillary's.

The Internet is about 3-to-1 in favor of Barack Obama. But that's the demographics of it; the Internet isn't everyone.

13. That true
My husband posted all the time here when Kucinich was still in the running; after that, I came and lurked for awhile, then I registered, unfortunately, it was after Edward's dropped out, he was my choice. Now, that there is Hillary Clinton and Obama, I see a definite "change" (excuse the word) in the whole dynamics of the board. Frankly, there is a division in our own party. That's what is really pissing me off. Its a rotten shame its come down to this. My husband supported Kucinich not only financially, but really believed in him. He now is so disillusioned by this board and the whole party process, he'll probably sit this election out. I think that whoever wins the democratic nomination, it will be such a uphill battle with the republicans, that they actually do have a chance to win in November, and a couple months ago, we all thought the a Democratic president would be a shoe-in. So much has "changed", and not for the better.

4. I remember when it was all Edwards. It tends to goes in waves.....
Hillary's turn is probably next. Sorry I am not an HRC supporter but I will support her if she is nominated. Not all Obama supporters are jerks, I promise.

8. The atmosphere is biased because Obama supporters are more plentiful here
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 02:42 AM by Straight Shooter
Good posts for either candidate often sink because they aren't "bright shiny objects" and there isn't much to yell and get passionate about. But occasionally there are some good ones that manage to stay afloat for a while. Keep reading and you'll begin to recognize names of people whose posts you admire, and you can focus on those.

Things will clean up fairly soon. I think the DU admins are getting ready to implement a 5-a-day posting limit. They want people to put some thought into their posts, instead of things like, "ZOMG, did you hear Hillary yelling at the banquet!!" and 50 different versions thereof.

By the way, CatnHat is a great user name. Welcome to DU. :hi:

edit, I left out some words

16. Why don't
you take a hike. Are you really that stupid in believing posting disgusting posts will win any Clinton supporters if by "pure chance" Obama gets nominated, 'fraid not, the percentage is growing daily that Obama will not get the support he thinks he has. Bad move. Now you can get lost.
