Like Ohio and Texas.

And wasn't that Rudy Guliani's strategy? How did that work out for him?

9. The exact opposite. Hillary substituted for Bill in WA state
Bill Clinton was scheduled to campaign in Seattle just prior to the caucus. After Super Tuesday, the campaign realized that they had to press hard in Washington and Hillary decided to campaign in Seattle instead (she sent Bill instead to Maine). That's a 180 reversal from South Carolina, where Hillary left the state and put Bill in her place.

Sorry, you can't spin it away like that.

6. Yeah. Uh huh. Sure.
Obama and Clinton spent comparable amounts of time in WA. Clinton has been racking up WA endorsements for MONTHS. As of November, Clinton had a double-digit lead in the polls.

Did she sit it out? No.

12. Can you compare HRC and BO time spent in WA and LA?
It didn't seem all that different to me watching the news. Where has HRC and BC been.

11. Yes, but we're not talking about outcomes...

...we're comparing strategies .

She didn't campaign in Nebraska or Louisiana, and opted to go for Washington.

Problem is, she didn't win there.

She is banking on Mar 4--with Ohio and Texas. She does seem to be throwing most
of her resources onto Mar 4. That's similar to Rudy's strategy.

The problem is, Obama has momentum. He's eroded 20+ point Clinton leads in all
of the states that he won handily yesterday. He'll have more momentum going into
Mar 4--because he's going to win every state until Mar 4.

And remember, there are 6 states voting until that time. Combine his momentum, with a long
February--without one single win for Clinton--and I think he's going to do very well on
Mar 4.

She is, like Rudy, banking on one day (Mar 4) to carry her over the top.

Unlike Rudy though, I think her strategy is about preserving her resources. She doesn't
have the cash to fight all of these small states, and the large states of Ohio and Texas.
She's opting to throw most of the money at Ohio and Texas.

We'll see, on March 4--whether or not that strategy works.

7. the demographics in each State voting yesterday
supported a Barack win, so I don't know if she put the resources in to seriously compete. I do get the feeling she's focusing on the delegate-rich States and -- before anyone makes a snide "worked for Rudy" comment -- don't forget that it DID work for her on Super Tuesday with CA, NY, NJ and AK all ending up in her bag despite the media's carping about an Obama Surge.

The demographics in Texas and Ohio support a win for her more than for Barack.

8. Hillary campaigned heavily....
...in Washington State. She had more appearances
there than Obama.

She had minimal presence in Nebraska. Bob Kerrey schlepped
for her there, and Chelsea spoke at a college.

She wasn't in LA, but Bill was.
