By Friday morning he was giving a half ass non apology apology to those who were offended because they misunderstood the real intent of his words. It took until Friday night for Shuster to give a real apology.

Shuster immediately defended his choice of words after the demeaning implications of them were pointed out to him in person and in private.

The latest reports are that Clinton is NOT seeking to have him fired and I believe that. The letter that was released about it never called for him to be permanently removed and it was written BEFORE Shuster finally issued a real apology but AFTER he swung at and missed his first two softball chances for him to do so.

What does strike me as odd is that Schuster should have made such a big deal of it as to use such a metaphor.
