Give a Cheer to Hillary-“Clinton brought both camps to their feet when she blistered the Bush admin”

~ALL FIRED-UP FOR THE LADY~ YES SHE CAN, YES WE CAN~

…..Clinton brought both camps to their feet when she blistered the Bush administration and, by inference, a likely Republican nominee she had no problem branding a conservative — even if he's struggling to sell that label to his party's right.

"We have tried it President Bush's way," she said, and now "the Republicans have chosen more of the same."

"President Bush has already put his stamp of approval on Senator McCain's conservative credentials," she said, adding wryly, "and I'm sure that will help." The line won cheers and laughs. Bush has nudged his party to unite but not explicitly endorsed McCain.

The Arizona senator lost the Kansas caucuses Saturday against long-shot rival Mike Huckabee, who draws support from conservatives.

Clinton described Bush's way as "hoard power, disregard science, shred the Constitution, smear dissenters, impugn patriots, go it alone in the world wherever you can and cooperate only when you have to."

She told the audience: "You know, for me, politics isn't a game. It's not about who's up or who's down. It's about your lives, your families and your futures. And isn't it about time you had a president who brought your voice and your values to your White House?" ……

51. I was there, and this does not depict how the atmosphere was at all
one of the lines that i laugh at "Chants of "Obama" rang through the hall as she made her way offstage, and they grew much louder when the Illinois senator arrived."

Chants of pro Obama rang through the whole night. including the hour in between Clinton's speech and Obama Speech.

14. Yes, the way the word "populism" is used by politicians and the MSM,
at best, it has dismissive overtones, and is more commonly used pejoratively. Yet, what does it signify? Pretty much the same as "democracy". The people's will enacted.

Please show me votes in opposition to Bush that Obama has made that differ from Clinton's.

As far as I can tell, their voting records in the Senate are virtually identical.

consistently from 2001-2005.

Or do many of you forget how Hillary stayed on the same page with Joe Lieberman up until Lieberman lost his primary race and THEN Hillary adjusted her rhetoric to SOUND more in opposition to Bush on his decisions she had solidly supported up till the end of 2006?

I trust Obama and HIS WH advisors to end this war - Gary Hart, John Kerry, Richard Clarke and Gen Anthony Zinni.

I KNOW what Hillary's advisors think already - after all, what American ex-president was ADVISING Tony Blair from 2001-2007?

18. Bashing Bush (at this point) is the same as when Reps "praise the troops" in a political speech.
It's an empty, cheap applause line that shows ZERO political courage.

Do you guys want to win or do you want to have a self-congratulatory circle-jerk?

If you want to win, you should be calling this type of stuff as it is - meaningless crap.

Don't get me wrong, I DESPISE this administration and what it's done to the country and the Constitution. But at this point, mentioning it is just a cheap applause line that doesn't help us win in November.

The other 30% will vote GOP no matter what.

Clinton raises $10 million since Super Tuesday

(CNN) – Hillary Clinton raised over $10 million from 100,000 donors since the February 5 Super Tuesday contests, her campaign announced Saturday, as Democratic voters in three states and the Virgin Islands weighed in on the presidential race.

In a conference call earlier this week, Clinton Campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe suggested that reports the New York senator had decided to loan herself $5 million in January were the chief reason for the recent fundraising boost, saying many donors had been unaware the campaign was facing a cash crunch. He also said Clinton’s entire staff was receiving their full salaries, following reports some senior staffers had voluntarily offered to forgo pay for a month.

After the cash influx, the campaign began to air television ads in Nebraska and Washington State, and Maine....

UPDATE: Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in a Saturday statement that the Illinois senator's campaign had raised more in the month of February than the Clinton campaign had, though he did not reveal the exact amount. He added that more than 350,000 donors had contributed to the Obama campaign so far this year.

55. Really? ToraBora saw Hill ACTION? Rumsfeld's firing after Abu Ghraib saw Hill ACTION?
Downing Street Memos saw Hill ACTION?

Alito filibuster saw Hill LEAD that ACTION?

I saw Hill undermine the 2004 nominee and saw Hillary REFUSE to give back up on any of the actions listed above AS THEY HAPPENED, and even took to the senate floor to deride Kerry-Feingold bill for Iraq withdrawal timetable.

She also joined Bush in his smear of Kerry in 2006.

YOU call that OPPOSING Bush for 7 years?

Even Bill defended Bush for 3 weeks of his summer 2004 book tour at the exact same time Kerry was attacking Bush on his decisions.
http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/06/19/clinton.iraq/

And Carville sabotaged Dem voters in Ohio - who did he do it for?
