I don't know how bad the weather is in Maine but
we've got a first rate blizzard in Northern VT and Northern NH. I wouldn't drive in this. I can't see five feet outside my window. If this is going on in Maine, I'd expect turnout to be light.

9. Looks like the 60% chance of snow kicks in after about an hour
I hope it doesn't materialize.

2. I'm in southern NH...
and it's dicey here, too. It's been snowing on and off since last night.

It's not that cold, so this may be turning to rain along the coast. Since most of the population in Maine is clustered in the York County/Portland corridor (along the coast), it might not be as bad as it would seem.

3. This is the worst storm we've had
all season, and in the last 3 days, we've gotten two feet in the Northeast Kingdom. The banks along my driveway are over 12 feet. Most snow I've seen here in over 10 years. And I'm in an incredible little snowbelt.

4. If we Bostonian city slickers can drive in it
You chicken farmers down east in Maine can hop on your tractors and make it through the snow drifts. Hell,...you guys are always making fun of our traffic, now walk the walk! :patriot: :hide:

7. I'm pretty used to driving in bad conditions
but no way would I go out in this. I couldn't even get out of my driveway. And I have 4 wheel drive.

12. Well it looks like your blizzard just hit Fenway Park
about 10 minutes ago. Overlooking the city from the 4th floor, the storm front looked like a swarm of locusts in the distance. It hit like a dust storm. Neat to watch, but I can understand probably not fun when it is over your axles.

It looks like Portland and Augusta are about to get pounded. Be safe, people!
