Political expert: Hil is the easer candidate. Obama is bulletproof, tougher, and brings hope
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 01:14 PM by marcellobarrios
What an excellent article by this political analyst today in one of our major newspapers:

The Democrats have it exactly wrong. Hillary is the easier candidate, Mr. Obama the tougher. Hillary brings negative; it's fair to hit her back with negative. Mr. Obama brings hope, and speaks of a better way. He's not Bambi, he's bulletproof.

The Democrats continue not to recognize what they have in this guy. Believe me, Republican professionals know. They can tell.

One word: brilliant.
In short, say tells us that there is a better future ahead of us. Obama being swiftboated should not be a concern (I agree with her), she says, because Obama is not the type of polarizing figure that Hillary Clinton is, for example.
Excellent.

Oh yeah. Every guy we've run since 88.

Republikkans always bang the drum of gloom and doom and then they kick in their smear machine.

18. Principles? What would those be?

I think you are confusing principles with tactics.

3. I've been saying that all along... (But your link didn't work).
It's so obvious that Obama's a MUCH harder opponent for the Repubs. to run against...obvious to everyone but Hillary supporters.

11. Bwahahaha!
You don't have to be smart to write a GOP book. Just a party propagandist with good connections.

8. Peggy Noonan is a Clinton basher for going on sixteen years now
her analyses are grounded in deep, irrational, emotional bias against both Bill and Hillary Clinton.

She is the golfing set's Maureen Dowd.

9. Peggy Nooner, Wall Street Journal
Its a shame the woman can't get an honest job other than shilling for the GOP and helping them relived their St. Raygun fantasies.

10. Republicans like Noonan don't attack the Dem candidate they want.
They praise him. There are no attacks against Obama from the right that I know of. Just lots of praise.

12. That's why the Plain Dealer endorsed him
His interview with them was terrible, he didn't even answer half their questions, but they gave him a pass.

I'm always suspicious of the candidate the GOP wants.
