So,

We now come down to the critical fact that Senator Clinton is going to suffer multiple double digit losses in February in Washington, Virginia, The Virgin Islands, Nebraska, Louisania, Maryland, and D.C. and probably lose Wisconsin,

She will be limping come February 20th for sure. However, judged by the robocalls that she used in Nevada, the flyers she used in New Hampshire to insinuate that Obama was questionable on choice issues, Clinton's fairly tale comment in NH, I suspect that all of the stops are going to come out in Ohio. The slime will be flying for sure as the Clintons desperately try to save their candidacy.

Rovian/Clintoninan tactics will be on display at their finest. It worked like a charm for Bush in South Carolina in 2000. What can those who support Obama do to fight this slime machine that is undoubtedly coming. She has the governor and the Ohio establishment on her side and a willingness to win at whatever the cost.

If the Clintons run a Rovian campaign in Ohio, all democrats should be ashamed of them even their supporters. They should win Ohio fair and square not the way Bush beat Mccain in 2000.

So what says DU: Which campaign will be dirtier in the end? The Rove campaign against Mccain in 2000 in S.C. or the upcoming Clinton campaign against Obama in Ohio in 2008?

2. Clintons in Ohio
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 02:09 PM by DJ13
All of Hillary's decades worth of over the top ambition to become the first female President comes down to Ohio and Texas.

The Clintons have demonstrated a complete lack of restraint or remorse when it comes to "must win" states already in this campaign, but unlike those past contests Hillarys ambition can be halted there if they dont play it dirty.

As the Obama campaign says, they will say anything and do anything to win.

4. The caucus was dirty in Nevada. Is Ohio a caucus or a primary? Will black voters be disenfranchised?
Like in 2004?

10. Ohio is a primary n/t
Peoples of all colors, disempowered economically and disenfranchised politically throughout Poppy, Reagun, Clinton, and *W, will be thinking things through very carefully - a colluding dynasty doesn't seem to sit well, IMO. Something must be done soon to right the ship of State and, so far, Strickland's had less than stellar performance in advancing People Power versus Corporatist Power.

There are great numbers of Ohioans whose budgets won't take even a single additional value-added government-mandated expense unless current social programs are either in place with fair eligibility changes that are adequately funded or new ones, specific to new problems, are organized, funded, and in put in place.

Geesh - just look at MI - their economy is all but dead and TPTB on both sides are beside themselves trying to lessen the impact of representational delegates in the political processes.
