3. I no longer have a dog in this fight
but I understand completely how so many otherwise good Congresscritters, Clinton included, voted for that authorization.

There are two things to consider: First, they were under tremendous pressure from every "expert" in every intelligence agency the administration trotted out. They were denied access to intelligence that suggested the contrary was true. They were bowled over by a barrage of expert testimony that gave tonnages of nerve gas and other utter and complete bullshit extracted from neocon ass.

Second, even in the face of all that pressure from all the great experts, they put a series of conditions on the use of force, not the least of which was to have Blix's team finish all inspections and submit a report to the UN. That Stupid's team just ignored all those conditions and started hurling death immediately should have been grounds for immediate impeachment and removal, but his corrupt party would not do it.

Had the conditions been met, there would have been no justification for the neocons to enter this ruinous war, and I think that's why they were inserted into the IWR.

And that's why they were ignored.

2. What? Hillary Clinton voted for war in 2002? I'm shocked! I had no idea!
Does anyone else know about this?

Please, spread the word!

How could it be this has been a closely-guarded secret all these years?!?!?

4. It's impossible to argue for or against a position represented by a video clip that uses music...

...to drown out the candidate's response to the question.
