Clinton folks, when ChimpCo is taking your candidate's side in a primary season, |
|
you've got a serious problem.
Maybe this is something you missed in choosing your candidate before. But it all goes back to Obama's "change" theme- the Clintons are way too involved with despicable political influences. Things will just keep going the same way they've gone since the Reagan years if we nominate Sen. Clinton. She, obviously, has no intention of doing anything differently. Hell, she's running on precisely that.
And the Clintons' connections with these people isn't just hype or spin. This is very real. This is the way the Clintons do business.
Personally, I don't want to be a part of that shit, the buddy-buddying with the neocons and multi-national corporations. That Obama is fresher in this game at least gives him the opportunity to reject that, where we know the Clintons will embrace it.

|
What, you think Hillary will even investigate Bush's crimes?
It takes a Clinton to cover up after a Bush.

to get the Democrats to nominate Obama. Reverse psychology.
However, all that Bush said was that Clinton is no racist and he was a right to campaign for his wife.

23. What will Obama's numbers be once the media/Repub lovefest for Obama ends? |
|
Everything has been positive for him and negative for Hillary. THATS what worries me. I still think Hillary would win against McCain and Obama would end up losing once Obama starts being attacked by the RW and the media. and you KNOW it's going to happen....

Rupert Murdock held a fund raiser for her. I want to see Obama stand up and say his first task as President will be to appoint an independent special prosecutor to investigate and document the war profiteering and treason of e last 7 years to trial

Republicans hate Hillary and will vote against her in droves, or Bush (one discredited Republican) "is taking (Hillary's) side" because he defended Bill? He didn't say a word about Hillary's policies (not surprising; he probably doesn't know them). He only said Bill isn't a racist, and has a right to campagin for his wife (both actually true..even a stopped clock, etc).
Either way, we shouldn't let any Republican determine who we vote for.

She will get used as a pinata by the Limbaughs and Hannities.

|
There he was, Mr. Disingenous Disguise himself, at a Dean rally, "Go Dean! Go Dean! Go Dean!"
Build them up, tear them down. Build them up, tear them down. Build them up, tear them down.
CNN Politicalticker, yesterday, Colin Powell praising Obama. Headline indicated Powell may vote for a Democrat or Indi in 2008. It's all mind games.

Look what they got as a result- the candidate with the wishy-washy positions on the issues.
You can't deny the closeness of the Clintons to Washington politics.

18. Is this a joke, or are you really that stupid? |
|
Why on earth would you let any comments by chimpy or his handlers affect your judgement about our Democratic candidates?
Should you take chimpy at his word, or should you suspect reverse psychology is behind his remarks?
You should do neither. Nothing he says about a Democrat should be given any credibility.
When you let such remarks from that source influence your judgement about our Democratic candidates, you are empowering those we have vehemently opposed here at DU. Please, don't be so stupid as to fall for their tactics.
By the way, I voted for Obama in the Illinois primary.

22. How did you reach that conclusion? |
|
My point is that it's a serious mistake to reach such a conclusion based on anything GW Bush or his cohorts say. They are pathological perveyors of misinformation.
If you came to that conclusion based on information from valid sources, that's a different story. However, the story that started this thread has to do with statements by GW Bush that cannot be used as a basis for judging Democrats.
