Portland has yet to begin their caucuses, though.

4. Portland seems to me that it should be an Obama stronghold
It's a lot like Burlington VT.

5. If Clinton can keep 40% then she gets almost half the delegates, she'll consider it a "win."
Kinda like how Obama saw Feb 5th as a "win."

11. If she loses it's a loss. Obama won 13 states on Feb 5th
Maine was supposed to go to Clinton. If she loses there, that's news.

14. Hillary taking 40% in a new england state is not a win in any way, shape, or form
She can spin that any way she wants, but nobody who isn't already supporting her will view her losing a state like Maine as a win. It's another lily white state, near NY, has a decent womens vote (judging by who they elect state-wide), and they are not voting for her. Her winning close would barely be a win for her there.

6. Hillary needs to dominate Portland to win
I just don't see it happen.

I am not talking about 55-45 Hillary, I am talking about 70-30 Hillary.

12. I'm not saying she is going to dominate Portland
But that is the margin of victory in Portland that she needs to win.

And I just don't see it happening.

13. Obama rally in Portland ME creates massive traffic jam yesterday
Democratic caucus-goers in Portland are waiting in long lines at Portland High School while a team of 30 registrars works to herd them into the event.

Organizers have assured the hundreds still waiting outside the high school that anyone in line by 4 p.m. will be admitted to the caucus. Voters waited in lines that stretched from the school’s entrance on Cumberland Avenue to Congress Street as recently as 2:30 p.m.

Obama should take Portland easily
