Since it's increasingly likely she will lose Maine, and she's likely going to lose Virginia, Maryland and D.C. on Tuesday, does she try and cut her losses and head straight to Ohio or Texas way ahead of time or does she go to Wisconsin and try to beat Obama there?

1. She can't just concede WI (I think it has over 100 delegates)
I think she is scheduled to speak at the JJ Dinner in Milwaukee on Saturday. I think Obama will be there too.

2. If money really IS tight (but they wont admit it) she heads straight to Ohio & Texas
This is no longer a campaign to win everything, its a triage to stop the bleeding of both resources and loss of viability.

4. Isn't she using the Rudy Strategy now?
Nice. It'll work for her just like it did for him.

7. This is a tough call...
she can either try to stem the tide by going to WI and spending significant resources there or just say fuck it and go to TX and OH full blast. Both choices are fraught with peril.

If she tries to play into WI, that takes away resources and campaigning in TX and OH...and she still might lose and be that much worse off for TX and OH.

Likewise, if she just ignores the next 3 weeks of contests and tries to focus on TX and OH, that is an eternity in a campaign to go without winning something. She may not have much left in the bank to fight Obama in TX and OH if she doesn't play the next 3 weeks.

Given these two shitty choices, I'd recommend the less shitty one: that she has to stop this momentum somehow in WI. I'd also recommend that she forego anything in VA or MD...the demographics and polling data suggest it is a lost cause. She might be able to pull something out in WI.

I just don't see how she can go from the inevitable candidate to basically staying out of the campaign for 3 weeks. She has to play somewhere in February and keep moving forward. If she doesn't win WI, I fail to see how she'd be any worse off than she would be if she just said fuck it and went to TX and OH.

8. She'll do what she can afford. Her fundraising has been good the last few days
But this about the delegates, Texas is a big prize. But I think Hillary needs to make a stand on tuesday, to win one outright. While setting the foundation in Texas & Ohio.

If it was a football game, Obama just scored a touchdown, and Hillary needs a first down to quite the crowd.

9. I heard Candi Crowley on CNN saying that Clinton was going to be
pushing all-out in Texas and could be on the ground there as early as Tuesday.

10. Really?
I trust Candi Crowley. But I'll wait for confirmation on that.

If it is true, she is banking on the Guilani strategy.

12. Crowley's commentary and analysis usually is crap, but her actual
reporting is usually spot on-target. Her sources are pretty unlimited.
