Is Senator Clinton conceding Wisconsin to Senator Obama,
Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 07:25 PM by elocs
or is she just supremely confident she will win? I am in La Crosse and in the last few days I have regularly seen a couple of different ads for Obama, but none for Clinton.

I just saw the other thread about Wisconsin being Clinton's firewall. I am still not 100% decided myself, but I must say that the ads for Obama are inspiring and may more undecideds his way.

The levels of "outrage" on comments vs. the level of outrage at candidates who will do nothing to end an illegal war and who perpetually buy into this bullshit war on terror are inverse, to say the least.

Associated Press - February 11, 2008 6:15 PM ET

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Chelsea Clinton told an overflow crowd at the University of Wisconsin-Madison student union today that Wisconsin voters will see more of her mom and her family than they may want to in coming days.

She made three stops in Wisconsin on Monday to campaign for her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
.........

One person chided Chelsea Clinton for calling Democratic super delegates to get their support for her mom. She defended it, saying she tries to talk to as many voters as she can.

42. This quote may come back to haunt her
I'm gonna compete in Wisconsin. I'm looking forward to competing in Wisconsin. It's kind of like one day at a time, where we're going what we're doing. But, you know, I have a very strong campaign already on the ground in Ohio, in Texas, we're getting, you know, prepared for Wisconsin. We're going to compete everywhere that's the advantage of being able to, you know, have the resources and have the ability to compete everywhere."

47. look at the issues on their site and not stupid commercials...
really, you should know better...

what are the issues..

we are in two wars...
the economy is headed for a recession...
the housing market is a mess...
our health care system is in serious need of repair...
our standing in the world is a shambles...

so, is an inspiring speech going to fix that? are the republicans going to suddenly become human and care about the working class? is a bunch of feel good statements going to make it go away?

let's see vote for someone who in 2004 made a speech and before that no one knew who he was

or someone who has been there and done that? someone who knows foreign policy and economics...

I myself would love to go back to a time when the budget was balanced... people had jobs and there was respect given when you said you were an American!
