Hillary Clinton says she'll be ready on Day 1 - is that true?
She makes the claim that she's the capable manager who's "ready on Day 1", yet the two major things that she's managed that have been challenging (the health-care reform failure in her husband's first term, and her own presidential campaign), she has not been that impressive to say the least.

Why should voters believe that the challenge of being president will be handled any better if she's elected?

1. it's a bunch of shit. She ain't ready anymore than Obama is.....
although she may know where the light switches are located. I'm sure that when President Obama calls on Bill Clinton for assistance, he'll be there so fast, it won't even be funny.

2. I am sorry but no one is ready to be president Day One
No one.

If Hillary thinks her experience as frist lady qualifies her in anyway to make that statement she should be called on it.

8. To be fair, she'll be more ready day 1 than Bush is on day 2500

3. Depends what the meaning of 'ready' is.
I think she'll be ready to continue the politics of the past, particularly the past Clinton administration. I'm looking forward to a break from that and Obama is the person ready for that.

6. I believe her, but the "ready on day one" debate is basically a lot of crap.
I'd buy it from Biden, who's spent 30 years assessing and designing and debating foreign policy. From Clinton it just means she won't need help finding the wash room the first week on the job. It's not like the generals and spymasters aren't going to offer the leader of the free world any guidance unless he asks just right.
