16. Add Nixon to that list.
Nixon tried to destroy our constitution long before the chimp ever thought of it.

5. I'm a Truman baby, and would have said Nixon, then Reagan. But it's not close.
It's W, not just the worst president in the last 55 years, but of all time.

Andrew Johnson second, I think, then Nixon. But W. is not just the worst, he's the first catastrophic president in U.S. history - i.e., the one from which it is impossible to fully recover.

8. I've gotta go with baldguy's choices above...
...Nixon had his faults, but when it's a matter of the top 3, it's "Make Room For Poppy" time.

12. True, but 10 choices in the poll worked out to 55 years...
...if you want to go back a century, here are your choices...

Theodore Roosevelt Roosevelt
1901-09
William Howard Taft Taft
1909-13
Woodrow Wilson Wilson
1913-21
Warren Harding
1921-23
Calvin Coolidge Coolidge, Calvin
1923-29
Herbert Hoover Hoover
1929-33
Franklin D. Roosevelt Roosevelt
1933-45
Harry Truman Truman
1945-53

...and I think Junior is still comfortably in the top 3.

19. Jimmy Carter is the most wrongly maligned president of our time
He balanced the budget in two of his four years. He got caught in a shifting oil market, at a time when the FED wouldn't just fix the interest rates on a running basis to save the current administration.

The reality is that gasoline and oil went highest under Reagan, but Carter gets the blame by the pukes.

Show your face. Just say something.

Do I need to advise those who lack the ability to detect hyperbole, I'm using exaggeration for effect?

28. Bush Jr., definitely.
Next, despite Obama's praise, I'd say Reagan. He delivered a disastrous blow to unions, and closed mental institutions which has led to our homeless problem today. Horrible, horrible president.
